ACTOR DAVE ANNABELLE AND ACTRESS ODETTE YUSTMAN DINE AT TAO

Friday night at TAO Las Vegas saw ABC’s "Brothers & Sisters" actor Dave Annabelle with his girlfriend, "Cloverfield" actress Odette Yustman dining at the restaurant. Annable and Yustman chose Spicy Tuna Tartare, Buddha Chicken and Udon Beef. The couple had a wonderful dinner enjoying each other’s company and completed their meal with TAO Asian Bistro’s signature Giant Fortune Cookie.

BAD SANTA!!

We had SO much fun last night at our 4th annual Bad Santa party. This year Brandon Roque was our Bad Santa and I must say he did an excellent job. with a bottle of Patron on standby right niext to Santas chair lots of lovely ladies lined up to do photos with him. right around 1am we did the competition for the Sexiest Santas Little Helper! TAO friend Kevin Federline stopped in for a bit as well.

Saturday night TAO Las Vegas saw one of the biggest birthday bashes of the year as Academy Award-winning actor and Grammy-nominated singer Jamie Foxx celebrated his 41st birthday and the release of his new album Intuition. Jamie and his crew arrived at TAO ready to party as they were carrying bottles of Ciroc, given to them by music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs. After posing for photographers on the TAO red carpet, Jamie and 22 of his close friends and family dined inside the restaurant’s private dining room and chose Chilean Sea Bass, lobster wontons and sushi among several dishes.

Towards the end of the dinner, the restaurant surprised Jamie with a sparkler presentation and a birthday cake. The entire group cheered and sang out “Happy Birthday.” Jamie then gave an emotional speech thanking each and everyone of his friends and family in the room. The Oscar winner even teared up as he thanked his sister (Deidra Dixon) and his childhood friends from Texas for always being there for him. After Jamie’s touching speech, the group headed upstairs to the nightclub where more of Jamie’s friends joined him to party at his usual VIP table on the dance floor. Feeling at home inside the nightclub, Foxx grabbed the mic and MC’d the night and sang songs from his new album. Revelers packed the dance floor when Sean “Diddy” Combs joined Jamie at his table. Diddy also grabbed a mic and made the entire club sing Jamie “happy birthday.” The club surprised Jamie with another sparkler presentation and birthday cake featuring his album cover.

Throughout the night, Diddy and Jamie went back and forth with DJ Vice singing along to Jamie’s album and some of Diddy’s own hits. Rolling in around 1:45 am was pop star Avril Lavigne. The singer arrived looking like a true pop star with her signature pink highlights and pink Coverse hi-tops. All pregnancy rumors were put to rest when she imbibed on shots of Patron at the owner’s table on the dance floor. Avril was in great spirits and was all smiles when Diddy gave her a shout out in the nightclub. Just a few tables were actors Chris Evans (“Fantastic Four”) and Lauren Conrad’s boyfriend actor Kyle Howard (TBS’s “My Boys).

BACKSTREET BOY NICK CARTER BRINGS AARON AND ANGEL CARTER TO CELEBRATE THEIR 21st BIRTHDAYS!

Backstreet Boy Nick Carter brought his younger twin siblings Aaron and Angel Carter to Vegas this past weekend to help them celebrate their co 21st Birthdays. The group arrives at TAO on Saturday night and had a private dinner for 15ppl in TAO's Private dining room before heading upstairs to the club. The group chose one of TAO's VIP skyboxes to celebrate in, bringing a cake out for the twins and Nick shoving Aarons gace in the cake!

Sunday night the group hit LAVO where they received a special meal from Chef Ludo and danced the night away to the sounds of DJ ROCTAKON in the club upstairs.

Saturday evening was a star-studded night at both LAVO (The Palazzo) and TAO (The Venetian) as celebs in town for the De La Hoya/Pacquiao bout chose these two hot venues for post fight parties.

Heading first to LAVO, Eva Longoria, Marc Anthony, Mario Lopez and Russell Crowe took a dance floor table and showed off their moves to the sounds of DJ Five. Also there for a second night in a row was former NBA star Charles Barkley, who sent a magnum of champagne over to the group’s table. After enjoying LAVO for a few hours Longoria and friends decided to head to TAO via the LAVO/TAO custom Escalade golf cart. They were seen cheering their driver on to go faster as they made their way across the casino floor. Once there, R&B superstar Usher joined their table for the rest of the evening. Black Eyed Peas front man Will.I.Am, and former Backstreet Boy Nick Carter were spotted at TAO as well.

Also dining at LAVO was Grammy nominee singer and songwriter Keyshia Cole, who was with Madhouse creator Jeff Beacher. They enjoyed some menu favorites before heading up to the nightclub.

LAVO regular, poker player Daniel Negreanu and cohorts from the Real Deal paired a bottle of Opus One with their meal.

ACTORS AND ATHLETES SHINE AT LAVO FRIDAY NIGHT

Actors and athletes were seen at LAVO inside The Palazzo on Friday. James Caan, who has a strong connection with the city through his recent TV series Las Vegas, came to visit friend Chef Ludo and sample the offerings at LAVO. Also dining were poker star Johnny Chan and baseball great Mo Vaughn, while actor Giovanni Ribisi, was spotted on the LAVO terrace.Upstairs in the nightclub baseball player Frank Thomas and former NBA star Charles Barkley and a group of male friends enjoyed the evening. Dancing the night away, Barkley took time out to say hello to fans and was very friendly. Also spotted was Zach from Real World Key West.

"Greys Anatomy" star Kate Walsh came to TAO to celebrate her upcoming marriage with a bachelorette weekend with several girlfriends including fellow Greys co-star Sara Ramirez.

The crew ate at TAO ofcourse, relaxed at TAO Beach and hit the nightclub during their stay for the girls weekend.

Tuesday night musician and Stone Temple Pilots frontman Scott Weiland hosted an album release party at LAVO for his new solo cd "Happy In Goloshes". The musician arrived with several friends and after doing photos took a seat in LAVO's dancefloor VIP section and had DJ FIVE play a new selection from the album, a cover of David Bowies classic "Fame", produced by Paul Oakenfold.

Saturday night at TAO Las Vegas saw superstar Jamie Foxx returning for the second night in a row. Jamie had dinner with 20 of his friends and family. The Oscar winner had set up two birthday cakes to be delivered for two of his friends, at TAO Asian Bistro. Afterwards they all hit the club, taking his usual table in the dance floor VIP section. Jamie entertained the packed house as he went back and forth with DJ Vice playing off each other and MC'ing the party well into the early hours as Cristal flowed at his table. Also at TAO was comedian Pauly Shore who hosted a festival after party with The Comedy Store, the legendary comedy club in LA owned by his family. Comedian and talk show host Bill Maher joined Pauly at the party, the old friends took a table in the dance floor VIP not far from Jamie Foxx. Other comedians at TAO included: Nick Thune, BJ Porter, Brett Gelman , Rob Riggle from “The Daily Show” and the cast of MTV’s sketch comedy show “Human Giant” (Rob Huebel, Paul Scheer and Jason Woliner).Also at TAO was “Mad Men” actor and one of GQ Magazine’s “Men of the Year” Jon Hamm. Jon arrived with five friends and took a table stocked with Grey Goose vodka.

Mehcad Brooks co-star of the hbo series true blood dining with 3 friends. Orthodox jewish rap/reggae/rock artist Matisyahu came with a large entourage to celebrate after his sold out packed performance. He escaped the crowd of fans for a little while with his wife and took in the las vegas strip on lavos patio (maggie has the photos). And long time TAO group friend Pauly Shore popped in late night after his party at TAO.

FRIDAY NIGHT AT TAO AND LAVO

Friday night at LAVO inside The Palazzo Jamie Foxx, a crew of guys and a bevy of beauties were dancing to the sounds of DJ Five. Decked out in diamond studded sunglasses and a black scarf, Foxx was spotted standing on a couch dancing and singing until the moment Bell Biv DeVoe’s “Poison” blasted across the club, at which point the group broke into a dance routine.

Also choosing LAVO on Friday was Brian Baumgartner from the hit TV series The Office. Joined by a blue eyed brunette they dined on the Strip front hookah terrace and relaxed with a few drinks before heading upstairs to a table on the dance floor.

Meanwhile at TAO....

A big fan of Tao and back again was oscar winner Jamie Foxx. He rolled thru the casino 30 deep and made a grand entrance immediately making his way to his dancefloor table and grabbing the mic and spotlight arriving around 1am after LAVO. He held court standing on the catwalk reminded the crowd about his new album dropping dec.16th and getting everyone hyped shining his trusty flashlight on the crowd and singling out the ladies. There was no shortage of sexy young women ready to get up and shake it for him. He had company on the mic for a few minutes when Wilmer Valderrama popped up in the dj booth with dj reach and they battled it out for a few minutes beatboxing. Also a good friend of and fan Tao, Wilmer then made his way down to his own dancefloor table where he kept it a bit more lowkey with some friends some ladies and of course a bottle of patron Kenny "Babyface" Edmonds was also at Tao hosting his brothers bachelor party at one of Tao's secluded Skybox's. The dapper group of men toasted with some bottles of Grey Goose and enjoyed watching the show Jamie Foxx was putting on down on the dancefloor. Back at tao for the second night in a row was co star of The Office, Brian Baumgartner.

Also spotted at Tao on Friday was "True Blood" co-star Mehcad Brooks with 8 friends in one of Tao's signature skyboxes, and Nathan Fields son of Janice Dickonson and co star of "The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency".

Friday night on the earlier side we met up with TAO friends the Kardashian sisters for the Usher concert at The Palms and a post dinner at Simon, good times! The concert was great, Usher is an amazing performer.

TAO-A-GOGO!!!!!!!!!!

With almost 100 contestants geared up in their best gogo outfits we took to TAO to find the new TAO-A-GOGO champion on Thursday! With our special guest MC Pete Giovine hyping up the corwd and keeping the contest moving we had SO much fun! We actually decided to be a guest judge this year along with my co-worker Kara Lewis and our friend Jack Colton of Jackcolton.com. The finals belonged to the crowd though as they chose their new champion!

PRINCE SURPRISES CROWD AT THE QTIP CONCERT!

While fighting off a fierce cold I rallied on Sunday night to hop over to the House Of Blues for the Q Tip concert. With great opening sets by The Knux and The Cool Kids, QTip was amazing! Towards the end of the show superstar Prince walked out on stage and surprised us all with a quick guitar set!

Saturday night at TAO Las Vegas saw UFC 91 lightweight winner Kenny Florian arrive with 10 of his closest friends after his win over Joe “Daddy” Stevenson in the Octagon. Florian looked cool, collected and full of smiles while he posed for photographers and joked around pretending to hold a title belt. While upstairs in the nightclub VIP, singer Mandy Moore surprised her good friend Florian at approximately 1am and congratulated him on a great win. Moore was in great spirits and spent the evening hanging out with Florian and crew singing along to the tunes spun by TAO resident DJ Vice.
Also at TAO Las Vegas was UFC All Access host Rachelle Leah who looked stunning in a little black dress and black heels. Rachelle and friends were spotted dancing in the VIP area and enjoying some cocktails celebrating another great UFC event with phenomenal entertainment.
At 2:30 a.m., legendary singer songwriter Prince arrived with a female companion. The duo had quietly came to TAO to enjoy the sights and sounds of the nightclub in a VIP skybox but the duo soon moved to the loft area of the restaurant so they could chat in a more quiet atmosphere and get something to eat.

Friday night at LAVO inside The Palazzo, Mandy Moore was spotted dining in the restaurant with three girlfriends. After dinner they hopped aboard the LAVO/TAO Escalade cart and were transported to Barney’s for some late night shopping.

At a separate table, Kelly Carlson of Nip/Tuck also enjoyed a night out with friends and feasted on favorites from the Mediterranean menu.

MMA fighter Kenny Florian rushed over to LAVO for dinner immediately after the weigh in for tomorrow’s UFC bout. Joined by his trainer and his entire camp, the group dined on signature dishes from Chef Ludo and were overheard talking about carb loading in preparation for the fight.

Hip Hop star Rick Ross and a friend had a bite to eat in the restaurant before heading upstairs to the nightclub.

Also spotted in the nightclub was Marlon Wayans, who had just driven in with friends from LA. In a great mood he was laughing and dancing all night long.

Philadelphia Phillies right fielder Geoff Jenkins held court at another table in the nightclub filled with friends celebrating his World Series win.

JASON MEWES HOSTS AT TAO

Friday night at TAO Las Vegas saw “Zack and Miri Make a Porno” co-star Jason Mewes serve as host for the evening. Jason arrived with fiancee Jordan Monsanto and Zack and Miri co-star, adult actress Katie Morgan. The group graciously posed for photographers before heading into dinner. The trio ate TAO's signature dishes of Chilean sea bass, lobster wontons and assorted sushi before heading up to dance the night away in the club. At their VIP table in the nightclub, Mewes and the ladies shied away from alcohol and only drank Red Bull, water and soda to keep their energy up to dance to the sounds of DJ Reach.

So after we slept in a little bit on Sunday we woke up recharged and headed to the Venetian to pick up TAO friend Perez and head to MADONNA. It truly was amazing as Perez hooked up some MAJOR seats. Madonna dedicated her new single "Miles Away" to the Laptop Samurai himself saying "Id like to dedicate this song to my friend Perez, who thinks I play gutair to much in my show, sorry baby...youre going to have to deal with it." It was unreal! Then towards the end of the show her Madgesty came over and let Perez sing into the mic. He was floating on air to say the least.

Next it was off to VICE SUNDAYS where LAVO was packed with post-concertgoers and locals in the mood to "Get Into The Groove"! Good times....

We kicked off the TAO 3 Year anniversary in style this past Saturday with special celebrity guests and VIP's coming in from all over the US. The red carpet was busy all night as stars stopped by to do photos and talk to the press before being ushered into dinner. Once inside the club everyone was seated in VIP and the party began with DJ VICE on the turntables to keep everyone moving all night long. Celebrities in attendance included: Amanda Bynes, Denise Richards, "Greys Anatomy" star Ellen Pompeo, Hill Harper (CSI), Holly Montag (The Hills), Jenna Fischer from "The Office", "Private Practice" star Kate Walsh, Lindsay Lohan, Mickey Rourke, Perez Hilton, Singer Robin Thicke, "24" star Roger Cross , Shawn Hatosy, Stacey Kiebler, and actor Taye Diggs.

Nelly celebrated his 34th birthday with dinner in the private dining room at LAVO restaurant inside The Palazzo Sunday evening. Dinner was followed by a visit upstairs to the nightclub where he was presented with a cake resembling a Ford Flex. Just prior to dinner, the Grammy Award winning recording artist and actor was surprised with a gift of a Ford Flex that he helped customize. Arriving at the same time was boxer Vernon Forrest, prompting Nelly to joke that he hoped never to be on the wrong side of that punch.

Spotted in Nelly’s group of friends was rapper Murphy Lee, of the St. Lunatics hip hop group.

Kevin Federline took in the sounds of DJ Vice upstairs in the nightclub as well. In a great mood, he danced the night away and laughed and joked with everyone nearby. Several times he even jumped into the booth with DJ Vice to partake in shots of Patron.

BEACHER HOSTS THE INSANITY BALL 2 AT TAO!

Saturday night while Amy Smart and Will.i.Am were getting the vote out at LAVO, comedian Jeff Beacher was hosting the Insanity Ball at TAO! The 2nd annual costume contest got under way with the host presenting his Madhouse Crew to scare up the crowd, who says HALLOWEEN ends on the 31st!!??
