POKER STAR LACEY JONES CELEBRATES HER BIRTHDAY AT LAVO

Wednesday night at LAVO inside The Palazzo, poker’s sexiest pro Lacey Jones celebrated her 30th birthday. Joined by friends, she first hit LAVO’s expansive Strip-front terrace for a drink before heading in for a dinner of Italian specialties and a pitcher of the signature Saggio cocktail. After dinner they went upstairs to take in Label Junkie Wednesday in the nightclub, where C Level boutique put their fashions on display to the sounds of DJ Crooked.

TERA PATRICK HOSTS LINGERIEGASM AT LAVO!

Tuesday night at LAVO adult film star Tera Patrick hosted the “Lingeriegasm”. Patrick arrived with husband Evan Seinfeld of The Spyderz and posed on the red carpet with models clad in designs from Seven Til Midnight, I Basic Intima and Ed Hardy Lingerie. The always affectionate couple flirted on the red carpet and Seinfeld even lifted his shirt to proudly display the tattoo of his wife along the side of his torso. The group headed into to dine on selections from LAVO’s new Italian menu before journeying up to the nightclub where a bevy of beauties in lingerie were waiting. The sexy sirens strutted along the LAVO stage, competing for a $1000 cash prize as Patrick judged. Jeannie Duffy was awarded the prize and the entire club celebrated by partying to the sounds of DJ FIVE.

Once again, notable names spent their Vegas weekends with the TAO Group, taking in the TAO, TAO Beach and LAVO venues.

The dining room at LAVO was even more stunning Friday night when graced with the presence of several TV beauties. My Name is Earl’s Nadine Velazquez, who is in town to co-host the Miss USA contest, dined with a girlfriend over a bottle of red wine.

Nearby Karina Smirnoff of Dancing with the Stars and three friends enjoyed LAVO’s new Italian menu. Both groups of ladies journeyed upstairs to the nightclub for a bit of dancing post dinner to the sounds of DJ FIVE.

TAO Group partner Jason Strauss kicked off his 35th birthday weekend celebration with dinner at the Asian bistro, where he was joined by a large group of friends including America’s Next Top Model winner CariDee English and actress Taylor Quinn.

Also dining nearby with friends, actress Krysten Ritter, who has been tapped for the new Gossip Girl spinoff and at another table E!’s Ben Lyons and Catt Sadler.

All of the notable names hit the nightclub where DJ Reach was spinning.

The party continued Saturday where perfect weather set the stage for the season opening of TAO Beach. Actress, singer and newlywed Mandy Moore played host, looking stunning in a bright Diane Von Furstenberg dress, Vanessa Bruno shoes and toting a Jimmy Choo clutch. Moore relaxed in a cabana and even Twittered “Vegas. Tao Beach. Wow!!! Beautiful day, yummy food, amazing people watching…”

Also enjoying the day was Owen Wilson, in town with his brother Andrew and a few friends, shading himself from the Vegas sun by wearing a long sleeve shirt and a baseball hat.

Angie Harmon, showing off a svelte post-baby figure, decided to spend the day with a girlfriend at TAO Beach while hubby Jason Sehorn golfed. Harmon surprised her husband with a Vegas trip to celebrate his 38th birthday, which was this past Wednesday.

Harmon was just one of the celebs that gossip blogger Perez Hilton met while he was at TAO Beach. Perez walked the carpet wearing a Papa Smurf t-shirt paired with silver and white Creative Recreation shoes that caught the eye of the photographers.

Actress Krysten Ritter, from Confessions of a Shopaholic and the upcoming Gossip Girl spinoff, arrived with music video director boyfriend Scott Culver. The affectionate couple lounged on a daybed inside a cabana near Dancing With the Stars pro Karina Smirnoff, whose Lily & Allen gauzy dress was ideal for the spring day.

Across the pool the party heated up inside a cabana where Lil Jon, Reggie Bush, Brody Jenner and his girlfriend Playmate Jayde Nicole had gathered along with poker pros Phil Hellmuth and Antonio Esfandiari. NFL pro Bush took photos with his girlfriend Kim Kardashian’s step-brother Jenner, but out of respect for Kim who was not in Vegas, wouldn’t take pictures with any other women.

After spending the day at TAO Beach, Angie Harmon rejoined her husband Jason Sehorn for an Italian dinner at LAVO to celebrate his 38th birthday. Joined by another couple, after dinner they headed up to the nightclub for Grey Goose cocktails and dancing to the sounds of DJ Skratchy.

Just two tables away in the nightclub were rapper Too Short and reality star Brody Jenner. Patron was the libation of choice there, with margaritas topped off by chilled Patron shots.

Over at TAO both The Veronicas and Nadine Velazquez came to dine right after wrapping up Miss USA rehearsals for the day. The Veronica’s enjoyed sushi under the watchful eye of TAO’s Buddha, while at a table nearby Velazquez and friends ate Dragon Rolls and sipped merlot. Also dining at TAO, Dancing with the Star’s Karina Smirnoff with three friends.

After dinner, The Veronica’s and Smirnoff stayed at TAO, for the nightclub there, while Nadine Velazquez and friends decided to return to LAVO’s nightclub for a second night in a row. The My Name is Earl Star stayed a short while before turning in early to rest up for her co-hosting duties at Miss USA Sunday.

LL COOL J TEARS IT UP AT TAO!!

There must be something in the water because once again TAO’s Worship Thursday was the setting for an impromptu performance that rocked the house. LL Cool J, in town to celebrate his clothing collection available exclusively at Sears, walked into TAO amid a throng of screaming fans. Once settled at a VIP table in the moat section he graciously posed for photos with club goers as well as the Miss USA contestants from the next table over. The sounds of DJ Five and the vibe of the crowd inspired the artist to grab a microphone and jump up on the TAO catwalk. After asking the DJ if he happened to have any of his music on hand, he invited the Miss USA contestants to join him on the catwalk as he rocked the house. The entire club danced as LL Cool J performed three songs before returning to his table to enjoy the rest of the night at TAO.

EDDIE AND BRANDI CIBRIAN PARTY AT LAVO

Love was in the air Tuesday night at LAVO inside The Palazzo. Despite recent rumors to the contrary, the wedded bliss between Eddie and Brandi Cibrian was clear to all. The actor could not keep his eyes off of his stunning wife, whose black dress with gold pinstripes displayed her mile long legs.

In Las Vegas for a quick family getaway, The couple and several of their friends had an “adults only” night at LAVO, first feasting on the new Italian menu and raving about the Kobe Meatballs. After dinner they made their way to the second floor nightclub where their prime table in front of the DJ booth was ideal for dancing to the sounds of DJ Five.

Tuesday night former Spice Girl and star of Peepshow Mel B dined at LAVO inside The Palazzo. Joined by her husband Stefan Belafonte, the duo sipped cabernet sauvignon while dining on items from the new Italian menu, including Crispy Calamari, Sea Bass, Crudo and Meatballs.

MATTHEW MCCONAUGHEY RETURNS TO TAO

A taste of Chef Mark Andelbrat’s food at TAO Las Vegas on Sunday evening inspired Matthew McConaughey and girlfriend Camila Avles to return for a second helping on Monday. The duo, whose dinner on Sunday was cut short in order to race to a show, wanted to try more dishes from the Asian bistro’s menu. On Monday night, an assortment of Sashimi and Sushi along with the Kobe Ribeye, washed down with Don Julio margaritas satisfied their cravings.

MATTHEW MCCONAUGHEY AND FRIENDS DINE AT TAO

Starting the day off was Avril Lavigne at tao beach, the rocker with her best friend and a few other made it over in the afternoon for a cabana and a few grey goose cocktails. Her and her bff had fun putting some fake tao beach tattoos to go along with her real ones. After a few hours there and a quick change the crew came back to LAVO for a second night, they love the new italian based menu so much the came back for 2nd's. After dinner the crew made their way to the club where they rook a table on the stage in a seculed corner where they could party and let loose. They especially loved the sax player that came out to play along with DJ Vice (Let's push that she came back cause she loved the food)

For the 4th night in a row its was celebrity central at TAO and an ecclectic group it was. After the ACM awards the stars poured in. 1st to arrive were Matthew Mcconaughey and girlfriend Camilla Alves, matthew in classic good ole boy attire was in stark contrast to camillas skin tight black satin dress with sheer cutouts in all the right places (getting designer) Shortly after their arrival victorias secret supermodel Marisa Miller looking stunning in a one of a kind dolce and gabana cream gown made especially for her made an entrance with her husband and a few friends. They joined matthew and camilla. They all met just today at the awards but they all seemed to be fast friends.

Last to arrive and on the heels of last nights surprise performance at tao was Jamie Foxx. The academy award winner as always came with a large entourage of family and friends. But this was an extra special night as he had his 15 year old daughter with him, he treated her to a very special day at the awards. They sat just across from matthews group and made sure to stop by and chat with them but his main focus was clearly spending quality with his daughter and family as this was her first visit to sin city.

TAYLOR SWIFT DINES AT TAO

Singer Taylor Swift, in town for the ACM Awards, arranged a special dinner at the hot spot for her band and crew. Also joined by her mother, the statuesque blonde beauty glowed in a black one shoulder dress, silver Louboutin heels and a silver Swarovski clutch. Dining on signature items from the chef, the group was extremely polite and the buzz of the restaurant gave the young star a taste of Las Vegas.

SATURDAY CELEB SIGHTINGS

TAO Friend Jamie Foxx hit up TAO on Saturday late night around 2am, rocking the mic with Flava Flav for over an hour for the crowd.

Our friend Kaley Cuoco from the hit CBS show "The Big Bang Theory" was in town and stopped by for dinner before seeing a Cirque show.....

Also in town were members of our favorite tv family the Kardashians. Kris and Bruce Jenner stopped by TAO for dinner with 6 friends.....

FRIDAY NIGHT SIGHTINGS

Rebellious rocker Avril Lavigne was spotted Friday night at LAVO inside The Palazzo. While hubby Derek Whibley was not among the group of friends, her wedding ring sparkled. Lavigne’s group was one of the first to try LAVO’s new Italian menu from Chef Ralph Scamardella.

David Spade, who dined earlier for the second night in a row at TAO, met up with the Lavigne and friends as the end of dinner, following his comedy show at The Venetian. Spade took the group up to the second floor nightclub, but chose to call it a night while Lavigne and friends grabbed a VIP table on the dance floor.

Also at LAVO on Friday was poker player Annie Duke, who is currently a front runner on the current season of Celebrity Apprentice. Accompanied by boyfriend Joe Reitman and friends, the group stayed in the lounge where they could relax and chat. Upstairs, the Celebrity Apprentice sightings continued as Andrew Dice Clay, who heard Donald Trump’s infamous “You’re Fired,” on the first episode, partied in the nightclub.

TAO Las Vegas once again served as celebrity central as stars in town for ShoWest arrived in force for Worship Thursdays. Starting the evening early, David Spade dined at the Asian Bistro before heading off to his limited engagement show at The Venetian. Arriving a bit later, Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush hosted a charity dinner in honor of the Lollipop Theater Network; with him was Chris Pine who is staring in the upcoming Star Trek movie. They were joined at dinner by Briana Evigan and the girls from Sorority Row, fresh from being feted as ShoWest’s 2009 Female Stars of Tomorrow.

Evigan, who glowed in a yellow Max Azria dress and Nina Ricci heels, was surrounded by cast mates Rumer Willis, Jamie Chung, Audrina Patridge and Margo Harshman, along with the movie’s director Stuart Hendler. The girls all stuck together for an extended dinner downstairs first since Rumer Willis does not turn 21 until August, when she intends to return to Vegas for a proper celebration.After dinner, the Sorority Row crew headed upstairs to a VIP table in the moat section of the nightclub while Rumer was able to catch up with producer/director Michael Bay as they crossed paths at valet when he arrived to TAO just as she was leaving for the night. Bay and five friends took a lower level skybox, enjoying Champagne and Grey Goose.

Dining at a table in the restaurant was reality star and socialite Brittany Gastineau along with Jeff Beacher of Beacher’s Madhouse, while yet another table in the celeb filled dining room was occupied by Ben Lyons and Jason Kennedy, both from E!. They all later joined up at a table in the nightclub.Upstairs at TAO Beach, cabanas were packed with even more notables. Justin Long, Bradley Cooper and New Line president Richard Brenner took a poolside cabana for the evening and Sorority Row girls Jamie Chung and Margo Harshman stopped by to visit them as well. Also joining them were Rachel McAdams and Josh Lucas, who were spotted canoodling and dancing inside the cabana. Just a few cabanas down was comedian Eddie Griffin enjoying the pleasant, albeit windy night.

REALITY STARS PARTY AT LAVO INDUSTRY TUESDAYS

Reality stars were spotted at LAVO inside The Palazzo Tuesday night. Matsuflex from VH1’s Tool Academy along with Trevor Lord and Matt Drag from MTV’s Double Shot at Love had a VIP table in the nightclub, just in front of the stage. The group had a great time at LAVO’s industry night with DJ Five, enjoying Belvedere and Grey Goose cocktails with Red Bull and cranberry mixers. Throughout the night the guys were constantly approached by girls wanting to have their picture taken with them.

CELEBRITY SIGHTINGS

Allen Evangelista from the series “The Secret Life of the American Teenager” was at sister club LAVO. Evangelista, dressed to the nines in a pinstripe vest, black tie, jeans and white wing tip shoes, was with a group of friends and had so much fun dancing and singing along that they stayed until long after they finished their bottle of Grey Goose.

Actor and Oscar winner Adrien Brody hit up TAO on Saturday night with a few friends, hanging at the owners table on the dancefloor.
