ADULT FILM STAR TERA PATRICKS BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION

At TAO, adult film star Tera Patrick celebrated turning 33 with dinner at the Asian bistro followed by a night in the club. Joined by husband, Spyderz rocker Evan Seinfeld, her mom and friends including chef Kerry Simon and tattoo artist Mario Barth, the group of twelve toasted with Moet Rose and enjoyed Sea Bass, Sushi and Sashimi before heading up to a VIP table in the club. Once in the club, the crowd clamored to get photos of the vixen as she was presented with a birthday cake and sparklers.

Producer Jerry Bruckheimer, in town for his annual Bad Boys Hockey Tournament, returned to TAO for the third year in a row. Bruckheimer was joined by actor Cuba Gooding Jr. and a large group of sports and entertainment figures spanning six tables in the VIP moat area of the club.

Chart topper Ray J arrived at TAO around 1:30 am surrounded by a bevy of beautiful women. He charmed the staff and was exceptionally polite to all around him.

Also arriving later in the evening were Kevin Federline and girlfriend Victoria Prince. The duo drank Jack and Coke at a table on the dance floor.

JAY-Z AND BEYONCE DINE AT LAVO

Thursday night at LAVO inside The Palazzo superstar couple Jay-Z and Beyonce were spotted enjoying a private dinner for two after her concert. The couple arrived at 11:30 pm dressed low key in jeans and sweatshirts and sat in a corner booth in the restaurant where they enjoyed specialties from the Italian menu.

JAY-Z STOPS BY TAO FOR LATE NIGHT DINNER

Just as the restaurant was about to close Wednesday night TAO Asian Bistro had a surprise visit from Jay Z, in town for his wife Beyonce’s concert. Joined by a friend and a body guard, the gentlemen secluded themselves in TAO’s private dining room where they dined on Satay Bass, Yellow Tail Jalapeno and more than a dozen of the specialty handrolls featuring albacore, avocado, scallions, tobiko and spicy ponzu wrapped in soy paper. When a phone call interrupted their meal the gracious group asked for their food to be packed and apologized for leaving so quickly, thanking all at TAO for the great food and service.

SATURDAY CELEBRITY SIGHTINGS

Saturday Sum 41 rocker Deryck Whibley spent the day at TAO Beach before heading to TAO’s Asian bistro for dinner. In town with a small group of guys for a bachelor party, they enjoyed Sea Bass, Crispy Shrimp and Crispy Tuna Sashimi, washing down the specialties with Jordan Chardonnay. After dinner they headed over to sister club LAVO to dance to the sounds of DJ Reach. Married to Avril Lavigne, Whibley kept any divorce speculation rumors at bay by hanging out only with his guys.

Also at TAO, actress Mena Suvari, her fiancé Simone Sestito and a friend, where they feasted on Sashimi and Sushi Rolls, plus sweets of Doughnuts, Ice Cream and Sorbet. They finished the evening at TAO Nightclub with Ketel One cocktails.

CHESTER FRENCH AFTERPARTY AT LAVO!

LAVO served as the concert after party for band Chester French. The up and coming stars, fresh off the stage after opening for Blink 182, headed to LAVO for some post show nourishment. A three hour feast of Italian specialties fueled them to head up to the nightclub to continue the fun.

The band, which is signed to Pharrell Williams’ Star Trak label was thrilled to return to LAVO after visiting the hotspot with Williams for the N.E.R.D. concert after party last year.

In the club Ciroc and Dom Perignon Rose flowed, while DJ Skratchy played tracks of their popular mix tape Jacques Jams. The duo stood on the banquettes and did the classic fist pump as they danced well in to the wee hours of the morning.

Also spotted at LAVO, actress Mena Suvari and her fiancée Simone Sestito having a romantic dinner.

At a separate table in the dining room was Portland Trail Blazers center Greg Oden. After dining with friends the NBA star headed to the nightclub for Dom Perignon and Patron, where he was joined by former NBA player and TV analyst Kenny Smith.

Actress Ashley Newbrough from TV’s Privileged and her best friend, visiting were seen dancing around LAVO while drinking Grey Goose and cranberry cocktails.

Over at sister hot spot TAO, NFL free agent Brian Simmons was spotted with friends and family. Drinking Patron on the rocks, the group enjoyed the sounds of DJ Reach.

KELLY ROWLAND AT TAO WORSHIP THURSDAYS

Kelly Rowland charmed a packed house at TAO’s Worship Thursday as she celebrated her #1 hit song, “When Love Takes Over”, and the season finale of her Bravo series “The Fashion Show”. The stunning singer arrived in a hot pink jumper and dined on specialties from Chef Mark Andelbradt including a variety of sushi rolls, Satay Bass, Squab Lettuce Wraps and Chicken and Pork Fried Rice.

After dinner Rowland and friends headed to a VIP table in the moat section the club, later hopping on stage to surprise fans with a performance of her chart topping song.

Saturday at LAVO inside The Palazzo, actress Kristina Apgar from TV's Privileged dined at the Italian hot spot. Having turned 25 in late June, Apgar headed to Vegas for a belated birthday celebration. Decked out in a gold dress and heels, the actress and her friends enjoyed specialties from the kitchen before heading to the nightclub.

Also spotted in the dining room, NBA free agent Andre Miller with Portland Trailblazer head coach Nate McMillan. Joined by friends, the group shared Caesar Salad, Spaghetti and Meatballs and Shrimp Scampi.

FRIDAY NIGHT AT TAO AND LAVO

On Friday Dancing with the Stars current pro champion Mark Ballas was spotted with his girlfriend, former American Idol contestant Joanna Pacitti, and friends at TAO Beach. Relaxing on a day bed the reality performers sipped frozen lemonade and soaked in the rays.

They continued their TAO experience with dinner at the Asian Bistro, enjoying a specially prepared meal by Chef Mark Andelbradt and signature Taotini cocktails.

Spotted at TAO Nightclub, James Posey of the New Orleans Hornets. The NBA pro was with twelve guys and girls celebrating a friend’s birthday. Tequila was a favorite at the table and the basketball player even bought a bottle of champagne for a group of girls on the dance floor.

Also seen at TAO with friends was Houston Rocket Tracy McGrady. The shooting guard was extremely friendly to all and stuck to water throughout the night.

Over at LAVO, NFL Hall of Famer Warren Moon dined at the Italian hot spot with friends. Of course the Kobe Meatballs were a must have, along with Caesar Salad and Rigatoni. Pomegranate Lemonada, a favorite specialty cocktail, was the drink of choice. After dinner the group adjourned to the nightclub.

The day started early on Thursday as electro-hop group LMFAO gave hot spot TAO Beach a prominent role in the music video for their song “SHOTS”, with Lil Jon. Throughout the day they filmed in the cabanas, at the bar and around the pool, even pulling in TAO Beach guests who were happy to play a part in the video.

The party continued with dinner for 20 at TAO Asian Bistro. Decked out in their signature Party Rock clothing and funky sunglasses, the group, including rap artist Shwayze and DJ Eric Dlux, commanded a large table under the watchful eye of the famed Buddha and dined on favorites from the kitchen. In keeping with the theme of the day, shots of Patron were brought to the table on several occasions, with the entire group breaking into a refrain from their hit song and they downed the drinks. Always entertaining, they got the whole restaurant in the mood to head to the club by clapping and using chopsticks as instruments to play along to music from the DJ.

After dinner they headed up to a VIP table on the dance floor in the nightclub, where they were enticed to hop on the stage for an impromptu concert of their songs “I’m in Las Vegas Bitch,” “I am Not a Whore,” and of course their summer hit, “SHOTS”, which they performed twice for the pumped up crowd. Lil Jon joined them on stage, taking shots from his crystal encrusted TAO cup and the crowd went wild. The night didn’t end there, as LMFAO jumped into the DJ booth with DJ Five and entertained the crowd until 3 am.

Spotted enjoying this special edition of Worship Thursday was Washington Wizard Antawn Jamison, drinking shots of Patron and Perrier Jouet Rose, and at another table UFC president Dana White with friends.

Over at LAVO, Mark Ballas of Dancing with the Stars enjoyed an early dinner with friends. The group enjoyed Calamari, Chicken Parmagiano, Sea Bass and of course the ever popular Kobe Meatball. They washed the Italian offerings down with the Pomegranate Lemonada specialty cocktail.

UFC 100 WINNER JOHN FITCH AT HIS AFTERPARTY AT LAVO

UFC 100 continued to bring the crowds to TAO and LAVO on Saturday night.

TAO was the location for the official TAPOUT after fight party. TAPOUT owner “Sky Skrape” was a gracious host, holding court in a lower skybox packed with vodka and beer. Spotted in the skybox were John “Magician” Dodson and Ultimate Fighter Season Eight winner Efrain Escudero.

Also spotted at TAO was British hunk Jason Statham. The Transporter actor, who was celebrating a friend’s birthday, proved very popular with the ladies in the club. Statham was down to earth and chatted with everyone who wanted to get near him.

After his win over Paulo Thiago, MMA fighter Jon Fitch made sure to let the crowd know he was heading to LAVO for his after party. Once there, he had a celebratory glass of champagne and then stuck to Macallan 12 on the rocks for the rest of the night. Fitch, joined by his girlfriend and a group of thirty, took over a large dance floor table and celebrated late into the night.

Mixed martial artists Chuck Liddell, Ryan Bader and Jens Pulver hosted at TAO Beach on Friday to kick off the fight weekend. Presented by Financiallyhung.com and MMA Jacked, the trio of fighters brought along a number of mixed martial artists to join in the party, including Aaron Simpson, Noah Thomas, Eric Lawson and Bill Smallwood among others. Of course, wherever these athletes go, the ladies follow and a bevy of beauties clamored to take their pictures with the guys. For Liddell, his time at TAO Beach was a pre-celebration as Friday night he was inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame.

VIDEO VAMP HOSTED BY FATIMA ROBINSON!

Thursday night at TAO Las Vegas saw internationally renowned choreographer and video director Fatima Robinson hosting the club’s first annual Video Vamp contest, with the winner receiving a role in a an upcoming Fatima Robinson project. She arrived at 10pm for dinner and started judging immediately after. Local go go girl favorite Candy was crowned as the winner.

Also spotted at TAO Worship Thursdays was UFC fighter Tito Ortiz and Jenna Jameson, who sat in a corner dance floor VIP table with friends enjoying champagne, cocktails and the sounds of DJ FIVE. NBA star Marcus Camby of the Los Angeles Clippers was seen in the moat VIP area with a bottle of Moet Nectar Rose, and Sopranos star Robert Iler hung out at the owners table on the dance floor.

Tuesday night at LAVO saw LA Laker Jordan Farmar, UFC president Dana White and mixed martial artist Chuck Liddell enjoying the nightclub. Farmar, whose bling was on display with a necklace and watch, drank Raspberry Stoli and 7-Up, while White stuck to vodka cranberry cocktails.

LeBron James had dinner at TAO Asian Bistro. Donning black rimmed glasses, King James sat at the head of a 15 person table located under the watchful eye of TAO’s famed Buddha. The group, which included several NBA players, enjoyed a selection of specialties from Chef Mark Andelbradt before heading to the nightclub for TAO’s Worship Thursdays.

Also spotted dining with friends at TAO was Matt Dillon. After dinner the group adjourned to the owner’s table in the nightclub.

Stopping by TAO nightclub was NBA player Trevor Ariza. The 24 year old, who just won the championship with the Los Angeles Lakers, verbally committed to sign with the Houston Rockets on Thursday. Ariza and a group of friends held court at a cabana at TAO Beach, taking in the nighttime outdoor oasis and celebrating with shots of Patron and Louis XIV.

Over at LAVO, several notable names in town for the Ante Up poker tournament dined at the Italian eatery.

Cedric the Entertainer was spotted dining with former NBA pro Kenny Smith and friends. The group enjoyed Carne Pizza, Filet and Bread Pudding for dessert and kindly took photos with a nearby table.

Also dining with his wife and in-laws, talk show host Montel Williams, who shared a selection of favorites from the kitchen along with a bottle of wine.

Superman Dean Cain, along with his wife and friends, also had an Italian feast, with Kobe Meatballs, Chicken Marsala, Shrimp Scampi and more, topped off with Oreo Zeppole for dessert.

Wednesday night actress Cheryl Hines dined at TAO Asian Bistro. Joined by friends, Hines enjoyed Lobster Wontons, Satay Bass, Buddha Chicken, Pad Thai, and assortment of sushi, along with white wine and cocktails.

Over at LAVO, D.J. Mbenga of the Los Angeles Lakers was spotted in the nightclub showing off his NBA Championship ring. Mbenga and friends checked out the Vegas Royalty fashion show taking place as part of Label Junkie Wednesday and partied to the sounds of DJ Crooked.

Annie Duke hosted at LAVO inside The Palazzo on Tuesday to celebrate the Summer of Poker Main Event Kickoff party. The poker pro and Celebrity Apprentice runner-up was joined by her boyfriend, producer Joe Reitman, and friends for an Italian feast with signature dishes sent out by the chef. Poker friends in the group included Joe Sebok, Brian Devonshire, Mike Sowers, Tiffany Michelle Graham and Hollywood Dave Stann. After dinner they headed up to the nightclub where Duke and friends commanded VIP tables directly across from the booth where DJ Five spun throughout the night.
