MOLLY RINGWALD CELEBRATES HER BOOK "GETTING THE PRETTY BACK" AT LAVO

Molly Ringwald celebrated the release of her new book Getting the Pretty Back with a party at LAVO on Tuesday. Ringwald dined at LAVO with her husband Panio Gianopoulos and two friends before heading upstairs to the nightclub. Much of the crowd turned out dressed in pink in honor of the Pretty in Pink star, with the largest group of pink clad women winning autographed copies of the book and bottles of Rose Champagne. The actress sipped Veuve Clicquot Rose, took photos with fans and was surprised by a pink cake.

Earlier in the day she was spotted taking in the rays at a cabana at TAO Beach.

"ALL MY CHILDREN" CAST CELEBRATES AT LAVO

Sunday night the cast of All My Children held a post Daytime Emmy Awards celebration at LAVO. Stars from the show gathered in the lounge and on the expansive outdoor terrace, enjoying signature menu items and cocktails while mingling among friends. Leading lady Susan Lucci held court and accepted a cake honoring the show’s 40th anniversary. Other cast members spotted at the party included: Britanny Allen, Bobbie Eakes, Melissa Claire Egan, Cameron Mathison, Vincent Irizarry, Jamie Luner, JR Martinez, Adam Mayfield, Denise Vasi, Chrishell Stause and Walt Willey. Marcy Ryland from The Young and The Restless also joined the gathering. After the private cocktail party the group made their way upstairs to a VIP section in the nightclub where they danced atop banquettes, loving the hip hop set from DJ Vice.

Also spotted checking out DJ Vice was UFC head honcho Dana White.

LAKERS CHAMP DEREK FISHER CELEBRATES AT TAO

Saturday night NBA star Derek Fisher celebrated his fifth world championship at TAO. The LA Laker, along with wife Candace and friends dined on signature favorites at the Asian bistro before heading up to a sky box in the nightclub. It was evident that the club was packed with partygoers from California as the crowd went wild when Fisher got on the mic to welcome everyone. DJ Ross One played a Laker mash up of the LMFAO song “Shots” as trophy shaped cake from Gimme Some Sugar was brought out for the point guard.

SUPERMODEL JESSICA WHITE CELEBRATES HER BIRTHDAY AT TAO BEACH

Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Jessica White continued her 26th birthday celebration at TAO Beach on Saturday, showing partygoers exactly why she has graced the pages of the famed publication. The stunner and friends, including model Irina Shayk, settled into the grand cabana overlooking the packed pool and White was thrilled to discover the “sand” in her birthday cake was brown sugar and she promptly tasted the sweet surprise. The group dined on favorites from the TAO kitchen and enjoyed pitchers of specialty cocktails while taking in the sounds of DJ Jason Lema.

On the other side of the grand cabana Olympian Apolo Ohno and friends were spotted checking out the crazed scene.

FRIDAY: CELEB SIGHTINGS AT TAO BEACH, LAVO AND TAO!

Notable names kicked off the weekend, starting with fun in the sun on Friday at TAO Beach. LA Laker Derek Fisher, who is hosting at TAO on Saturday, was celebrating his 5th NBA championship at the pool. Also spotted was Playmate and “Holly’s World” co-star Laura Croft.

Friday night Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Jessica White celebrated her 26th birthday with an Italian dinner at LAVO. The gracious stunner even shared a few pieces of her birthday cake with a nearby table before adjourning to a VIP table in the club. Joined by fellow model Irina Shayk and friends, the beauty danced the night away, requesting DJ Politik play “Say Aah” from Trey Songz. At around 3 am Paris and Nicky Hilton, along with David Katzenberg stopped by to say hello. All drank Cristal and toasted to Jessica’s birthday.

Derek Fisher was also spotted dining at LAVO with his wife and friends. Once they hit the club the NBA star requested a Michael Jackson set from DJ Politik, who was wearing a Lakers championship shirt.

Country pop star Carrie Underwood and a group of girlfriends took over a VIP table on the LAVO stage for a bachelorette party in celebration of her upcoming wedding to hockey star Mike Fisher of the Ottawa Senators. The singer donned a “bride-to-be” sash and the group wore feather boas from LAVO’s bachelorette goody bag while dancing the night away.

Actress Leslie Bibb from Iron Man stopped by LAVO before heading to TAO for dinner with friends. John Enos III, best known for his role on The Young and The Restless was also spotted dining at TAO.

CHRISTOPHER MINTZ PLASSE 21ST BIRTHDAY RED CARPET ARRIVAL

"SUPERBAD" ACTOR CHRIS MINTZ PLASSE CELEBRATES HIS 21st BIRTHDAY AT TAO & TAO BEACH

Saturday night Chris Mintz-Plasse, who played McLovin in the movie Superbad turned 21 at TAO. Joined by friends including Ryan Cabrera and actor Evan Ross (son of Diana), the group gathered in the private dining room for a meal of signature dishes. Everyone counted down to midnight and screamed “Happy Birthday” as the star became legal. After dinner they hit the nightclub where he jumped into the DJ booth with Olympian Michael Phelps and DJ Vice – the crowd cheered as all they did shots of Patron to mark the occasion. The celebration continued with a cake adorned with sugar beer cans.

Michael Phelps and Miss California Nicole Johnson dined at the Asian bistro after spending the day at TAO Beach where the swimmer cooled off in the pool. Former NFL stars Eddie George and Michael Irvin, who also enjoyed TAO Beach during the day, were spotted dining at TAO as well.

Chris continued his 21st birthday weekend celebration at TAO Beach on Sunday. Friends including Cabrera and Ross helped the star celebrate in the grand cabana overlooking the pool and Chuck Liddell stopped by to say hello. Cabrera presented his friend with a beach ball shaped cake as the DJ played “I’m Too Sexy.” The group enjoyed Mojitos, Margaritas and Sushi. The party continued with dinner at LAVO before heading up to a VIP table in the nightclub where he mingled with fans.

JERSEY SHORE STAR PAULY D STOPS BY WORSHIP THURSDAYS AT TAO

Thursday night DJ Pauly D dined at TAO Asian Bistro with six friends. They enjoyed a selection a signature dishes before heading to a VIP table on the dance floor in the nightclub. He drank Grey Goose cocktails and loved the sounds of guest DJ Ross One.

SOLANGE KNOWLES DJ'S AT TAO BEACH

Solange Knowles brightened a slightly overcast Saturday at TAO Beach as she spun a special DJ set for a packed crowd. Solange donned a colorful Boxing Kitten dress and YSL shoes while entertaining the crowd. Solange got on the mic and had pool partiers singing along to the Biggie Smalls hit “Juicy”.

THE CAST OF "THE HARD TIMES OF RJ BERGER" CELEBRATES AT LAVO

Friday night the cast of the new MTV show The Hard Times of RJ Berger gathered at LAVO with the show’s writer/director David Katzenberg and writer Seth Grahame-Smith to celebrate their premiere. Paul Iocono, who plays RJ Berger, along with Jareb Dauplaise, Kara Taitz, Amber Lancaster and Jayson Blair hammed it up on the red carpet before heading into LAVO’s private dining room for dinner. Once upstairs at a VIP table, the young Hollywood group could not contain their excitement, dancing and drinking Ketel One cocktails. The ultimate surprise of the night was a huge shout out in the club and a cake in their honor.

Shane West celebrated his 32nd birthday with a dinner of Italian favorites before heading up to the nightclub where the party continued with cake and cocktails. 90210 star Ryan Eggold was spotted partying with friends at a nearby table in the nightclub.

Alexis Bellino from Bravo’s The Housewives of Orange County continued the party for her husband Jim’s 48th birthday. The couple and a group of friends dined at LAVO, enjoying Pomegranate Lemonada specialty cocktails along with Lobster and the signature Kobe meatball before heading up to the club.

"REAL HOUSEWIFE OF ORANGE COUNTY" ALEXIS BELLINO AT TAO BEACH

Alexis Bellino of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Orange County hosted a Hawaii Day luau at TAO Beach on Friday in celebration of her husband Jim’s 48th birthday. The reality TV star happily posed for pictures with fans before heading to the DJ booth, where she cracked jokes about the birthday boy. The happy couple celebrated in a cabana with ten friends from Orange County, enjoying mojitos and sushi.

LISA & BRITTNY GASTINEAU CELEBRATE TRES GLAM AT LAVO

Brittny Gastineau and her mother Lisa hosted the night in celebration of their new jewelry line Tres Glam Sunday at LAVO. After dinner of LAVO signature dishes, including the Kobe Meatball, the large group headed upstairs to the nightclub where they showed off pieces from the line.

MACY GRAY HOSTS LAVO VICE SUNDAYS

In town celebrating the June 22nd release of her highly anticipated album, The Sellout, Macy Gray stopped by LAVO on Sunday to surprise guests with a few tracks. The crowd went wild as the funk queen, clad in a purple velvet suit and sunglasses, wowed the club with selections from the critically acclaimed release. Earlier in the night the diehard Laker fan was spotted with in a hoodie catching the playoff game against the Celtics in LAVO’s lounge.

Saturday night Australian R&B singer Daniel Merriweather surprised a packed crowd at LAVO, singing two of his hits “Red” and “Change”. Spotted in the crowd catching the performance was Warren Sapp.

Our friend Allison Melnick celebrated her birthday in Vegas with us at TAO on Friday night, her friends Paris & Nicky Hilton stopped by to help her celebrate.

NFL STAR CHAD OCHOCINCO STOPS BY TAO BEACH

Thursday afternoon Chad Ochocinco took over several cabanas at TAO Beach while filming his upcoming reality show -- Ochocinco’s Ultimate Catch. The Cincinnati Bengal and Dancing With the Stars contestant was spotted doing pushups in between takes for the pool scenes.
